Working Hours: F/T 40 hours per week. We would also consider part-time hours for suitable candidates upon negotiation.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join our busy Process & Facilities department working on a range of execution projects on behalf of operators. Our team provides the Project Management and Engineering as part of an Owners Engineer provision to Operators managing Tier 1 contractors throughout the delivery of execution projects.

In this role the Project Engineer will play a critical role in managing and overseeing execution projects as part of our team on behalf of our client. This position involves coordination of incumbent contractors and vendors to ensure project deliverables, schedule and costs align with the project program, specification and industry standards.

The role will include the:

  • Coordination of project activities with multiple stakeholders to ensure efficient execution and compliance with all contractual obligations.
  • Monitor project progress against established timelines and budgets, and report any discrepancies to the project management team.
  • Collaborate with engineers, field personnel, and other project disciplines to address technical challenges.
  • Interface with the client Technical Authorities for the review of engineering documents, plans, and specifications to ensure they meet regulatory and client requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between the client and contractors, providing timely updates and facilitating problem resolution.
  • Implement and maintain project controls and documentation best practice.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

OR

  • Equivalent experience in project engineering gained within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management tools and software.
