About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Logistics Manager Europe to lead and strategically manage end‑to‑end logistics. This role can be based in Croydon, UK or Brzeg, Poland, and will take ownership of regional logistics strategy, performance, cost control and compliance. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure our logistics network supports business growth, excellent customer service and operational efficiency. This is a senior leadership role with real influence and visibility, making a direct impact on service, cost management, sustainability and risk across multiple countries.
Role Responsibilities
- Strategy & Governance: Define and deliver the European logistics strategy aligned with business and operational objectives; drive standardisation of logistics processes across all sites; own and manage the regional logistics budget; lead 3PL and carrier tender processes.
- Performance & Cost Management: Deliver agreed OTIF, lead time and cost‑to‑serve targets; develop and maintain KPI dashboards; lead continuous improvement initiatives; optimise transport modes and inventory positioning.
- 3PL & Supplier Management: Build strong partnerships with freight forwarders, carriers and warehouse providers; conduct regular performance reviews; develop contingency plans.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure compliance with EU and international transport, customs and trade regulations; oversee Incoterms alignment; manage logistics risk.
- Systems, Data & Reporting: Champion accurate logistics reporting; support optimisation of ERP, WMS and TMS systems; use data‑driven insights.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Customer Service and Finance; provide clear reporting to senior leadership.
What You'll Need
- Experience: Proven logistics leadership within manufacturing; multi‑site and multi‑country operations; strong track record in 3PL tenders; experience in international freight, customs and trade compliance.
- Skills & Knowledge: Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability; ability to influence across functions; confident communicator in English (Polish beneficial); strong ERP and systems capability.
- Qualifications: Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related discipline (preferred); continuous improvement or Lean experience desirable.
