About this role

The role ensures stores are fully stocked and provides the best availability and standards for customers across all departments, ensuring legal and safe operations. Reporting into the Store Manager, key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the team to the very best standard and ensure the best shopping experience
  • Plan and organise promotions and in-store events
  • Listen and respond to customer feedback
  • Ensure market leading availability across the store
  • Work with other managers to lead a supportive and performance driven department
  • Manage people routines, scheduling, absence, and performance
  • Deliver training to build team capability and confidence
  • Motivate and lead colleagues across various departments
  • Identify and develop talent
  • Build effective relationships with other operating departments
  • Lead colleagues to deliver outstanding performance against targets
  • Take a leadership role within the store
  • Ensure resource is planned thoroughly

About you

Experience in retail, hospitality, service industry, or travel & tourism with a passion for exceptional customer service. Requirements:

  • Experience managing a team in a fast paced environment
  • Great communicator who shares knowledge and best practices
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Adaptable to change and able to challenge effectively
  • Actively listen and respond to customers and colleagues
