Store Colleague - Convenience
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is hiring a Store Colleague for its convenience store in Gloucester. This is a permanent, part-time role (9 hours per week) with a competitive hourly rate.
- Location: The Barge Arm, Gloucester
- Hours: 9 per week
- Pay: £10.85 - £12.71 per hour
- Closing date: 12 May 2026
About this role
Do you enjoy being an integral part of your local community? Love meeting new people and working with colleagues to offer excellent service? We are looking to recruit our future convenience stars to work in your local [Employer hidden] Daily store. Please note: This role will involve regular lone working. Candidates must be comfortable and confident working alone in store for periods of time.
As a store colleague, you will be trained to cover various tasks within the store, including:
- Till and cash operation (including Post Office as required, subject to DBS)
- Stock control
- Merchandising
- Preparing Food to Go (as required)
- Ensure the store is operating safely and legally
- Covering supervisor role in store (additional pay for hours covered)
- Lone working (an essential and routine part of the role)

About you
You’ll be the kind of person who:
- Loves going above and beyond for our customers
- Has a flexible approach to working hours, as you will be required to work early mornings and some late nights
- Enjoys being active and working in a fast-paced, varied environment
- Is confident working independently when lone working is required
Please note: For our premises that sell alcohol, suitable candidates must be over 18 years old due to licensing conditions.
