About the Role

The Trading Manager ensures our stores are fully stocked, provides the best availability and standards for customers, and maintains legal and safe operations.
Reporting into the Store Manager, key responsibilities include:
- Leading the team to deliver the best shopping experience
- Planning and organising promotions and in-store events
- Listening and responding to customer feedback
- Ensuring market leading availability across the store
- Working with other managers to lead a supportive and performance-driven department
- Managing people routines including scheduling, absence, performance, and talent conversations
- Delivering training to build team capability and confidence
- Motivating and leading colleagues across various departments
- Identifying and developing talent
- Building effective relationships with other operating departments
- Taking a leadership role within the store
- Ensuring resource is planned thoroughly
About You

- Experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to share knowledge and best practices
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

- Active listening and responsiveness to customers and colleagues
