About this role
[Employer hidden] is recruiting for a high performing Trading Manager to help the business continue to grow and succeed. Reporting into the Store Manager, you will lead the team to the very best standard and ensure the best shopping experience for every customer. Responsibilities include:
- Lead the team to the very best standard and strive to ensure the best shopping experience for every customer
- Plan and organise current promotions or in-store events
- Listen and respond to customer feedback
- Ensure market leading availability across the store
- Work with other managers to lead a supportive and performance driven department
- Manage people routines including scheduling, absence, performance and talent conversations
- Deliver training to ensure team capability and confidence
- Motivate and lead colleagues across various departments
- Identify and develop talent within the department
- Build effective relationships with other operating departments
- Lead colleagues to deliver outstanding performance against targets
- Take a leadership role within the store
- Ensure resource is planned thoroughly
About you
We are looking for someone with experience of managing a team in a fast paced environment. You must be a great communicator, able to build relationships with stakeholders, adaptable to change, and able to challenge effectively. Previous experience in retail, hospitality, service industry or travel & tourism is valued.
