Trading Manager - Liverpool

This permanent, full-time role (40 hours/week) offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits. You will lead the team to deliver outstanding customer experience, ensure market-leading availability, and develop talent within the store.

About this role

[Employer hidden], from a Bradford market stall to the UK's fifth largest supermarket, is recruiting for a Trading Manager to help the business continue to grow and succeed. Reporting into the Store Manager, you will:

  • Lead the team to the very best standard and strive for the best shopping experience for every customer.
  • Plan and organise current promotions or in-store events.
  • Listen and respond to customer feedback.
  • Ensure market leading availability across the store.
  • Work with other Managers to lead a supportive and performance-driven department.
  • Efficiently manage people routines, including scheduling, absence, performance, and talent conversations.
  • Deliver training to ensure team capability and confidence.
  • Motivate and lead colleagues across various departments.
  • Identify and develop talent within the department.
  • Build effective relationships with other operating departments.
  • Lead colleagues to deliver outstanding performance against targets.
  • Take a leadership role within the store.
  • Ensure resource is planned thoroughly.
