Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant for its Weston-super-Mare store. The role involves dispensing prescriptions, supporting OTC sales, providing customer service, and working 20 hours per week on a permanent basis.

Here at [Employer hidden] our Dispensing Assistants are responsible for:
- Making sure patients receive a friendly, confidential and attentive service
- Supporting (and helping control) Over The Counter (OTC) sales and stock replenishment
- Labelling and dispensing of Prescription Only Medicines (POMs)
- The safe hand out of prescriptions in line with pharmacy procedures
- Helping resolve surgery queries
- Reporting dispensing errors and near misses
- Delivering a range of Pharmacy Services
- Supporting the Pharmacy Team and Manager with the delivery of agreed KPIs

About you
You’ll be the kind of person who has:
- Completed an approved Pharmacy Assistant training course (e.g. NPA Interact)
- Completed an approved Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant course (e.g. NPA DAC - 1 year course)
- Shows care and compassion for customers and is always helpful
- Enthusiasm and commitment to deliver pharmacy services and KPIs
- Ability to use own initiative to help resolution of customer queries
- Comfortable working shifts and weekends where required
