About the Role
[Employer hidden] is a Yorkshire food retailer serving customers across the UK. We are recruiting for a high performing Night Manager to lead and empower colleagues through the night to ensure stores are ready for customers the next day. Reporting into the Store Manager, you will:
- Lead and empower colleagues to always put the customer first and deliver outstanding customer service
- Listen and respond to customer feedback and react accordingly
- Ensure market leading availability across the store
- Work with other Managers to lead a supportive and performance driven department
- Efficiently manage all people routines, including scheduling, absence, performance and talent conversations
- Deliver training to ensure team capability and confidence
- Enable colleagues to work across various departments
- Identify and develop talent within the department
- Build effective relationships with other operating departments
- Lead colleagues to deliver outstanding performance against targets
- Take a leadership role within the store
- Ensure thorough resource planning
About You
We welcome applications from candidates with retail, hospitality, service industry, travel or tourism experience who have a passion for exceptional customer service. Requirements include:
- Experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment
- Great communication skills to share knowledge and best practices
- Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Adaptability to change and ability to challenge effectively
- Active listening and responding to customers and colleagues
