Market Street Manager (E & W)
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is hiring a Market Street Manager for the Knottingley store. This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week) with a competitive salary and excellent benefits. The closing date is 09 November 2026.
About the Role
Reporting into the Store Manager, you will:
- Lead and empower colleagues to always put the customer first and deliver outstanding customer service
- Listen and respond to customers' feedback
- Ensure market leading availability across the store
- Work with other Managers to lead a supportive and performance driven department
- Efficiently manage all people routines, including scheduling, absence, performance and talent conversations
- Deliver training to ensure team capability and confidence
- Identify and develop talent within the department
- Build effective relationships with other departments
- Lead colleagues to deliver outstanding performance against targets
- Take a leadership role within the store
- Ensure resource is planned thoroughly
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience of managing a team in a fast-paced environment
- Great communication skills to share knowledge and best practices
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Adaptability to change and ability to challenge effectively
- Active listening and responsiveness to customers and colleagues
