- Making sure patients receive a friendly, confidential and attentive service
- Supporting and controlling Over The Counter (OTC) sales and stock replenishment
- Labelling and dispensing of Prescription Only Medicines (POMs)
- The safe hand out of prescriptions in line with pharmacy procedures
- Helping resolve surgery queries
- Reporting dispensing errors and near misses
- Delivering a range of Pharmacy Services
- Supporting the Pharmacy Team and Manager with the delivery of agreed KPIs
About you
You will have:
- Completed an approved Pharmacy Assistant training course (e.g. NPA Interact)
- Completed an approved Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant course (e.g. NPA DAC - 1 year course)
- Care and compassion for customers
- Enthusiasm and commitment to deliver pharmacy services and KPIs
- Ability to use own initiative to resolve customer queries
- Comfortable working shifts and weekends where required
