The ICS/OT Cybersecurity Engineer will be part of a team responsible for protecting a rapidly expanding global enterprise, performing risk assessments, and leading implementation of enterprise ICS/OT systems.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with OT Cybersecurity Manager and Engineers to represent OT Cybersecurity at regional level.
- Implement and manage Secure Remote Access (SRA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
- Perform OT asset discovery, inventory management, and risk classification using OT monitoring platforms.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on OT assets and coordinate remediation.
- Support integration of OT security monitoring into SOC workflows.
- Work with data center teams to ensure cybersecurity controls do not impact uptime.
- Conduct cybersecurity assessments of products and technologies.
- Perform risk assessments against frameworks like ISA/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82.
- Implement OT monitoring and analytics tools for threat detection and hunting.
- Assess criticality of OT systems and design resilient architectures.
- Research and develop OT defensive tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Develop OT Cyber Resiliency solutions and architectures.
- Review network architectures for security best practices.
- Work with vendors to maintain documentation and diagrams.
- Represent Vantage Cybersecurity team in vendor meetings.
Job Requirements
- Hands-on experience deploying OT security solutions.
- Design and implementation of IDS, Secure Remote Access, Firewalls, Endpoint security.
- Working knowledge of BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLC platforms (Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell).
- Industrial protocols: Modbus, DNP3, BACnet, OPC, S7, CIP.
- Passive OT monitoring tools (Tenable, Nozomi, Claroty).
- Firewalls (IDS/IPS/DPI/WAF).
- Networking: Routing, Switching, VLANs, Security, Wireless.
- SIEM, SOAR, XDR technologies.
- Windows and Linux server architectures in IT/OT environments.
- Cloud and virtualization platforms for OT.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in OT Cybersecurity risk assessments.
- Strong understanding of ICS/OT cybersecurity frameworks.
- Preferred: ISA/IEC 62443 certifications, SANS GICSP, GRID, NERC CIP familiarity.
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-61, SP 800-82, PERA.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, NIST CSF.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Less than 20% travel.
