Summary

About The Role: At [Employer hidden] we have an opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our catering team at our Head Office in Leicestershire. Working within our onsite restaurant, you will play a vital role in supporting the business by managing deliveries and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the kitchen. This is a key position that ensures our catering operations run smoothly and safely every day. This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday 6.45am - 3.00pm

What You'll Take On

  • Manage deliveries, ensuring everything arrives at the correct temperature and in good condition.
  • Store stock safely and efficiently, following stock rotation and health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the kitchen and restaurant areas.
  • Wash kitchen equipment, pots, and pans to a high standard.
  • Take responsibility for the dishwashing area, ensuring equipment is sanitised and well-maintained.
  • Manage waste removal and empty bins regularly to keep the environment safe and clear of hazards.
  • Complete daily cleaning schedules and laundry tasks to ensure fresh cloths are always available.
  • Report any equipment breakages immediately and comply with all safety standards.
  • Secure the premises at the end of each shift by locking windows and doors and returning keys to security.
