About Us

For over 30 years, [Employer hidden] has been at the forefront of transforming healthcare through technology across Australia and the UK. From pathology and radiology to oncology, and practice management, our solutions connect the healthcare ecosystem and unlock better patient outcomes at scale. At [Employer hidden], people are at the heart of everything we do. We work as one team, united by our purpose: to create a healthier society through smarter digital healthcare.

The Role

The Apprentice Client & Sales Executive will support the Strategic Client Management team in delivering exceptional service to our customers and identifying opportunities to increase the value our technology brings to healthcare organisations. This is a development role designed for someone with a highly positive attitude, resilience, and strong initiative who wants to build a career in healthcare technology sales. The successful candidate will gradually develop the skills required to manage their own portfolio of customers and grow into a Strategic Client Manager role. You will work closely with experienced members of the team to support customer relationships, help deliver revenue growth opportunities, and assist with tenders and bids. Over time you will take increasing responsibility for managing customer interactions and identifying opportunities to support their use of our technology. Alongside your role, you will be completing a degree apprenticeship, with the equivalent of one day per week dedicated to your studies.

Important information about the apprenticeship: The formal apprenticeship training will begin once an approved apprenticeship training provider has been appointed. We are actively working to secure a suitable provider, and the apprenticeship will be enrolled as soon as this process is complete. The job itself will commence before this to allow the successful candidate to begin gaining hands‑on experience and integrate into the role and team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Customer Relationship Support: Support the Strategic Client Management team in maintaining strong relationships with NHS customers and other healthcare organisations; assist in day-to-day communications with customers; participate in customer meetings and site visits where appropriate; help identify opportunities where our products or services could further support the customer.
  • Customer Success & Value Creation: Support customers in making effective use of our technology; help identify opportunities for additional modules, services, or training; assist in monitoring customer activity and engagement.
  • Sales & Commercial Development: Support the team in identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and value-added services within existing accounts.
  • Position Overview: Assist with maintaining sales pipeline information and supporting account planning; help maintain accurate records of customer interactions within the CRM system.
  • Tender & Bid Support: Assist with preparing proposals, tenders and supporting materials; work with the Sales Operations team to gather information required for bids and submissions.
  • Team & Industry Engagement: Support the team with attendance at conferences, exhibitions, and industry events; develop an understanding of the NHS, its challenges, and the role of digital technology in improving patient outcomes.

What experience do I need

Educated to A Level standard, Level 3 Diploma, or an equivalent Level 3 qualification. This role is ideal for someone who may be early in their career but demonstrates the mindset and behaviours required to succeed in a customer-facing commercial role.
