Short Summary
Reporting to the Build Team Lead this position is responsible for supporting and implementing a high quality of critical applications across [Employer hidden] and will assist in the design, configuration, and refinement of the software for our clients. Internal Job Title: Build Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain templates and work instructions used for detailed specification gathering from Clients.
- Work with and support Implementation Specialist in populating and gathering of specifications from Clients and Internal teams.
- Work closely within a squad to deliver configuration for Clients within a given sprint.
- Review and provide meaningful and actionable feedback on specifications within the appropriate timeframe.
- Import of specifications into a system and perform defined unit testing on outputs to ensure functionality.
- Create scripts that generate forms and reports based on a given design and perform unit testing to ensure quality and functionality. Maintain and update these scripts throughout the lifecycle of a project.
- Create and generate business rules from Client requirements and perform unit testing to ensure quality and functionality. Maintain and improve business rules through the life of a project.
- Create and review Configuration release documentation, providing high level oversight on changes to configuration during a sprint, and include actionable and meaningful feedback on issues encountered.
- Provide clear and appropriate updates on tasks to managers/stakeholders as required, including the identification and escalation of risks and issues encountered.
- Other duties as required.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Applied Science, or equivalent.
- Understanding of software development processes and functional design.
- Understanding of healthcare integration and interoperability standards and best practice (HL7, APIs, etc), is desired.
