Clearance Requirement: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Active Top-Secret SCI with Poly clearance highly preferred, or ability to obtain and maintain.

Shift Availability: Two 12-hour shifts: Day Shift 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM or Night Shift 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM.

Responsibilities

  • Render assistance in administration and regulation of duties of junior technicians and oversee contractors for electrical duties.
  • Analyze systems requirements, research equipment, recommend modifications. Install new units or replacement parts per specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Utilize safe working practices: lockout/tagout, MSDS, good housekeeping. Type and use administrative software.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and modify malfunctioning electronic units, printed circuit boards, sensing mechanisms, advanced electrical circuits.
  • Perform maintenance, installations, and service repairs on critical data center systems, power distribution components, electronic components, lighting systems. Use test equipment for diagnostics. Log activities in CMMS.
  • Perform daily walk-through documenting power, temperature, humidity, alarm status. Monitor BAS according to MOPs and SOPs.
  • Manage mechanical and electrical systems in emergencies: HVAC, power distribution, generator systems, UPS, fire/life safety.
  • Identify required materials and parts; prepare cost estimates.
  • Maintain vendor relationships.
  • Schedule, coordinate, oversee critical environment vendors during maintenance and emergencies.
  • Set up and operate electrical data capturing devices.
  • Create MOPs and SOPs; perform technical and quality reviews.
  • Collect and generate field service reports.
  • Develop reliability reports.
  • Conduct training with junior technicians.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years relevant experience with high school diploma or GED.
  • Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret SCI with Poly clearance.
  • Licensed or Certified at Master or Journeyman level preferred.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, floor plans, construction documents, safety requirements, OEM manuals, MOPs.
  • Organize safe maintenance principles; establish and meet deadlines; interpret building codes.
  • Operate and inspect emergency power generation equipment.
  • Ability to use hand tools and test equipment; analyze and perform preventive maintenance; troubleshoot advanced circuits.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of power density and HVAC capacities.
  • Knowledge of building automation systems.
