What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, and undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate patients' wellbeing, dignity, and treatment.

- Facilitating regular management supervision with individuals in line with [Employer hidden] policy, using a cascade system with other qualified therapists
- An agreed reduced level of patient facing clinical hours to create line management responsibility, as agreed with the Private Business and Therapy Manager.
- Be available for any clinical issues the team may need, for example managing risk, responding to complex patient needs, supporting individual cases with a wider MDT as necessary.
What you'll bring to the role
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
The ideal candidate will be a registered healthcare professional with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or an accredited psychotherapist with British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), or UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). They will bring strong leadership capabilities to support and guide a diverse therapy team.
The successful candidate must have substantial experience in addiction services and a strong understanding of therapeutic roles in mental health settings. They should demonstrate proven experience in providing managerial supervision, the ability to remain calm and effective in challenging or high-pressure situations, and excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills.
