Integrative/ CBT Therapist

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

  • Deliver high-quality integrative psychotherapy with a strong CBT focus, providing evidence-based assessment, formulation, and treatment for a diverse adult caseload.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, tailoring interventions to client needs while maintaining accurate clinical records and outcome measures.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nursing staff, to support holistic treatment planning and continuity of care.
  • Manage risk effectively, including safeguarding and crisis intervention, while adhering to [Employer hidden] policies, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Contribute to service development through clinical governance, supervision, and ongoing professional development to ensure best practice in mental health care.

What you'll bring to the role

Candidates should hold relevant professional accreditation or registration (such as BABCP, UKCP, BACP, or HCPC with proven experience delivering CBT and integrative therapeutic interventions within mental health settings. Strong skills in assessment, risk management, and multidisciplinary collaboration are essential, alongside experience working with complex emotional and psychological presentations.
