Registered Staff Nurse (Full Time)
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Lombard House is looking to recruit a Registered Staff Nurse to join the team on our Rehabilitation and recovery ward. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours. Candidates must hold a full driving license. Due to limits on sponsorship allocations, we are not currently in a position to offer sponsorship to new candidates for these roles, this remains under review. Located in Norfolk near the market town of Attleborough, [Employer hidden] Lombard House is a specialist level 2 rehabilitation service for males with a learning disability.

What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients
- Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework.
- Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse.
- Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess their need and evaluate their progress. Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.
- Evaluate and respond to changes in patient’s condition and needs.
- Deal proactively and effectively with suggestions and complaints from patients and their families / carers.
What you'll bring to the role
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 6–12 months of post-registration experience, holding an active NMC registration and having completed a preceptorship programme. They will possess a strong understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements, and professional practices, along with evidence of ongoing post-registration continuing professional development. A positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality are essential, as is the ability to adopt flexible and innovative approaches to practice. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Candidates should also have a minimum of six months’ post-registration experience within a Mental Health or Learning Disabilities care environment, with continued professional development in a relevant field.
