Ward Clerk/Patient Finance Admin (Part Time)

Located in Norfolk near the market town of Attleborough, [Employer hidden] Lombard House is a specialist level 2 rehabilitation service for males with a learning disability.

What you'll be doing
You'll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn't involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone.
- Prepare admission packs
- Record patient admissions and discharges on the relevant IT systems
- Arrange sick certificates for patients on admission and throughout their stay as required
- Obtain patient records from other hospitals as required

What you'll bring to the role

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an excellent standard of written and spoken English, along with strong IT competence, particularly in Microsoft applications. They will have a highly customer-focused attitude, be well organised, and possess the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, alongside a strong team-working ethic and the ability to maintain professional boundaries at all times. Previous experience in an administrative role is desirable, ideally within a similar setting, though this is not essential. Experience liaising with other organisations is also beneficial, supporting effective communication and collaboration across services. There will also be a oversee of monies involved within the role, so good finance knowledge would be essential.
