Business Operations Lead (Fraud)

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is hiring a Business Operations Lead (Fraud) in London. This is a full-time, on-site position in the Fraud and Compliance department.

Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Operations Lead to own and lead [Employer hidden]’s fraud strategy, ensuring our customers and business remain protected from financial crime and abuse.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fraud prevention strategy
  • Leverage data analytics to enhance fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and identity verification
  • Collaborate with compliance, product, and engineering teams
  • Lead and scale fraud operations with tools, automation and data-driven insights
  • Stay ahead of evolving fraud tactics and regulatory trends
  • Develop and grow the fraud team

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience owning outcomes in an analytics and operations-intensive function (ideally fraud)
  • Proven track record of building and scaling fraud prevention programs in high-growth environments
  • Hands-on experience with analytics, machine learning models, and automation tools
  • Strong background in data-driven decision-making, with proficiency in SQL strongly preferred
  • Bonus points for fintech experience
