About the Role

Raven is here to make a difference, working as a team to build homes and change lives. We’re currently recruiting for a Employer Engagement Officer to join our Employability & Skills Team. The overall purpose is to actively support the delivery of Raven’s employability service to people in our local communities through building strong and collaborative relationships with local and area-wide employers, understanding their needs, and securing volunteering, work placement and employment opportunities for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a strong employer network across Surrey and Sussex to generate high-quality volunteering, work placement, and employment opportunities aligned with participant needs and local labour market demand.
  • Support participant progression into work by coordinating wraparound support, collaborating with delivery partners to help individuals overcome employment barriers and achieve sustainable outcomes.
  • Deliver timely and professional communication, including reports, letters, emails, and calls to keep employers and stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant data capture by maintaining up-to-date participant, employer, and activity records in the CRM system, supporting effective monitoring and reporting.

What You’ll Bring to Raven

  • Proven understanding of employer engagement and partnership building.
  • Proven ability to understand needs with vulnerable or disadvantaged groups and managing inequalities.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Able to assess participants to job roles understanding their learning and development needs.
