Station Performance Manager - Regional UK Airports

The Ground Operations function operates as a multi-disciplinary team of experts driving efficiency and innovation across all aspects of Ground Operations. As Station Performance (Account) Manager you will manage and implement the delivery of safe, compliant, efficient, consistent and customer-focused Ground Operations processes and activities for all airports in your dedicated area. Based at either our UK Head Office in Luton or one of our major UK Airport Bases (Birmingham, Gatwick or Manchester) you will take responsibility for a number of UK&I Regional Airports. Hybrid working model with an average of 3 days per week onsite at your local office/base or travelling.

About the Job
- Manage and implement the delivery of safe, compliant, efficient, consistent and customer focused Ground Operations processes.
- Managing relationships with third-party suppliers, Airport Authorities and government agencies.
- Ongoing performance management of Ground Service Providers.
- Analysing current performance data and turning trends into improvements.
- Managing and reviewing Ground Operations activities to ensure compliance.
- Deliver new product initiatives and concepts on the ground.
- Ensure [Employer hidden] standards are achieved and consistent customer experience.
- Complete regular quality assurance checks on third party suppliers.
- Implement improvement programmes and educate third party suppliers.
- Manage investigation of Safety Reports and Non-Conformances.
- Participate in operational On-Call and Emergency Response (ERP) rosters.
About You
- Significant experience in aviation ground handling.
- Self-motivated individual who works collaboratively.
- Ability to work as part of an international team.
- Understanding of Human Factors within ground handling.
- Ability to stimulate continuous improvement amongst third party ground handlers.
- Experience in management of third-party suppliers.
- Strong communicator with ability to influence.
- Ability to think commercially and operationally whilst ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Logical thinker with ability to generate ideas.
- Demonstrable ability to articulate concepts verbally and in writing.
- Ability to audit and check compliance.
- Certification in ground handling procedures and regulations is highly desirable.
- Cultural sensitivity.
- Strong business English.
