Further Information
Join us as a Programme Manager and help make the North East the Home of Real Opportunity.
You will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering high-impact, strategic programmes that directly support the [Employer hidden]'s Corporate Plan, New Deal for North East Workers, and inclusive economy ambitions. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll help turn bold health and employability priorities into tangible outcomes that improve lives, strengthen communities and drive sustainable economic prosperity across the region.
This is a hands-on, influential role at the heart of programme delivery. You will lead the end-to-end management of one or more strategic health and employability related programmes, ensuring excellence in governance, financial control, risk management and benefits realisation. From translating national policy into the shaping of local programmes from concept through to full business case development, funding negotiations, implementation and evaluation, you'll work collaboratively with commercial partners, local and national government and key stakeholders to build a strong and compliant pipeline of initiatives that contribute to our region being the Home of Real Opportunity.
If you thrive on partnership, purpose and impact, this role offers genuine opportunity to make a difference. You'll represent the North East CA at senior boards and committees, develop clear and effective communication strategies, and build trusted relationships across and beyond the North East. With a strong commitment to equality, value for money and inclusive practice, you'll help ensure that all investment contributes meaningfully to a fairer, more inclusive regional economy.
We are proud to be an inclusive employer, and we welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, communities and experiences. We support flexible working and encourage applications from candidates who are under-represented including women, disabled people, LGBTQ+ people and those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.
If you're motivated, organised and passionate about making a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
This post is fixed term for a period of 12 months.
