[Employer hidden] Services is looking for a hands-on, quick-thinking (Travel) Wind Turbine Technician to keep turbines spinning smoothly across the UK & EU. This role requires extensive travel to wind farms across Italy and Europe for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The position demands technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

What You’ll Be Handling Day-to-Day

• Scheduled Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, filter replacement, and inspections.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using specialised tools.
• Component Replacement: Replace faulty components, including blades, gearboxes, and electrical systems.
• Data Logging: Collect and report turbine performance data.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and use PPE.
• Travel: Frequent travel across UK and Europe.

Requirements

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Education: Degree/diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in wind industry or similar industrial fields.
• Languages: Fluency in English required.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to climb turbines and work at heights.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset.
• Driving License: Valid driver’s license essential.
