- Salary: £109,725 to £145,478 per annum
- Contract: Fixed term for 3 years, Part-time (5PA)

Job Summary

The Deputy CMO – Clinical Transformation & Digital will work with clinical teams and community partners to create sustainable improvements in patient outcomes. This role includes leading digital transformation, EPR implementation, and championing clinical quality and patient safety.
Main Duties
- Provide senior clinical leadership for digital transformation to improve patient outcomes, safety, and experience.
- Be a key member of the Clinical Digital Transformation team, providing oversight and challenge to digital strategy.
- Lead clinical preparation and implementation of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR), ensuring workflow redesign supports clinicians and enhances patient safety.
- Work closely with CCIO, CIO, and operational leaders to ensure clinical alignment in digital initiatives.
- Oversee safe clinical adoption of new technologies like AI, remote monitoring, and virtual care models.
- Champion a culture of digital inclusion and readiness among clinical staff.

Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential)
- Fully registered with the GMC with unblemished record
- Post graduate medical qualifications
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Qualification or equivalent experience in management, leadership or quality improvement
Experience (Essential)
- Substantial clinical experience at consultant level
- Strong reputation as a clinician and clinical leader with proven track record of high-quality results
- Experience of job planning, medical appraisal, and management of performance concerns
- Experience of developing leadership knowledge and skills in others
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cultural change with empathy and emotional intelligence
- Proven ability to build trust and influence across diverse clinical groups
