[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is hiring an Operative for their site in Swadlincote. This is a full-time, permanent role with rotating shifts. The position offers an excellent salary plus bonus and benefits.

As an Operative, you’ll play a vital role in our site operations, reporting directly to the Site Manager. You’ll be hands-on across various areas including raw materials, storage, production, dispatch, and housekeeping — all while maintaining the highest safety standards in line with CRH and SHE protocols. Please note this role is based at our site in Swadlincote Address: Swainspark Industrial Estate, Park Road, Swadlincote DE12 6JT. This is a full-time role working on a rotating shift pattern of 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am. Due to the site’s location and shift times, having your own transport is highly recommended.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Achieving daily production targets
  • Recording and reporting quality data
  • Loading/unloading products from plant and vehicles
  • Ensuring accurate and timely dispatch to meet customer expectations
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site

What We’re Looking For

The ideal Operative will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar production and despatch environment. In addition, experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial to your application:

  • Good communication skills and strong numeracy
  • A mobile plant licence for diesel counterbalance forklift truck
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Previous experience with manual handling
