The Role

We're looking for a Project Manager in the Microbes and Food Safety programme. An exciting opportunity to help launch a Norwich Centre for Microbiology has become available. The post holder will manage the development, organisation and launch of a new virtual centre to promote the strength, breadth and depth of microbiology research from the Norwich Research Park.

  • Support development of the Centre by liaising with key stakeholders from across the research park.
  • Help commission and distribute a website, communications and marketing material.
  • Organise relevant events including a conference.
  • Engage with and help create novel content from across the park.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant should hold a PhD in a related discipline with experience in science communication and project management. They will have knowledge of a research environment and skills in critical thinking and independent problem solving.

Additional Information

Salary on appointment will be within the range £34,950 to £37,800 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time post for a contract of 15 months.
