Project Support Assistant (FDNC)

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is hiring a Project Support Assistant to join the Food Databanks National Capability team. This is a full-time, indefinite position based at the Norwich Research Park. Salary: £26,600-£32,800 per annum. Not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Background

Food Databanks National Capability is a national resource for food information and data. It compiles and publishes data on the composition of foods eaten in the UK, providing databases on nutrients and bioactive compounds. [Employer hidden] works with partners including the University of East Anglia and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

The Role

  • Provide administrative support for national and European science projects
  • Meeting and travel organization
  • Reporting and dissemination activities
  • Support for the NC-Lead and Deputy-Lead of FDNC, diary and email management
  • Website updating and maintenance
  • Minute taking
  • Financial reconciliation of invoices and travel expenses
  • Capturing metrics and compiling/extracting data for reporting

Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Highly IT literate (Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Flexible and able to manage own workload
  • Experience in a similar role advantageous
  • Website editing (ideally WordPress) desirable

Additional Information

Salary on appointment will be within the range £26,600 to £32,800 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time post offered on an indefinite basis.
