The Role
This important senior role will provide leadership and vision for the Food & Nutrition National Biosciences Research Infrastructure (F&N NBRI) to deliver the business plan and ensure data, training and other services are fully utilised and aligned to the research needs of [Employer hidden] Bioscience and more widely across the bioscience community in the UK and internationally.
The Ideal Candidate
- Educated to degree level or equivalent (Masters/PhD advantageous)
- Strong track record in food, nutrition, and health data (especially food composition and food intake), tools for researchers, industry, policy, and services for external users
- Strong publication record and proven track record for external, national, and international funding grants
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to manage, develop, and motivate staff
- Established network of researchers, industry, and policy both in the UK and internationally
Additional Information
Salary on appointment will be within the range £68,670 to £86,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time post on an indefinite basis.
