GlyCarb Study Investigator

Salary: £25,568 - £31,384 per annum | Type: Full-time, 13-week contract
Background
The GlyCarb Remote study is investigating how different carbohydrate-rich meals affect blood sugar levels.
The Role
The primary responsibility of the Study Investigator will be to support the GlyCarb Remote study activities and conduct study activities independently. The role may involve laboratory analyses study foods and data analysis, depending on the candidate experience.
Ideal Candidate
- BSc in a related field (MSc and/or PhD also desirable)
- Previous scientific research experience
- Experience in in vivo intervention studies preferred
- Experience in in vitro digestibility studies encouraged
- Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Must complete training and obtain research passport (DBS certificate)
Additional Information
Salary on appointment will be within the range £25,568 to £31,384 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time post for a contract of 13 weeks.
