Job Description
This PhD aims to address major constraints of human microbiome studies by accessing large cohorts of military populations to investigate how changes in the human gut microbiota influence and are linked to a rigid and disciplined lifestyle, and how it responds to physical and/or mental challenges. The successful candidate will identify appropriate time points for biological sampling and apply tests to assess gut microbiota changes, physical and cognitive performance, and psychological states.
