Job Description
A PhD studentship (MRC-funded) to investigate the carrier state and transmission of Salmonella Paratyphi A using genomic and metabolic approaches. The student will gain laboratory skills (sequencing, metabolic phenotyping) and computational skills (metabolic pathway analysis, phylogenomics, transmission tracing). Entry Requirements
- At least UK equivalence Bachelors (Honours) 2:1 or UK equivalence Master’s degree.
- English Language requirement: IELTS 6.5 overall, 6 in each category.
