PhD Studentship

Contract Length: 4 year PhD project
Funding: Norfolk Cancer Charity BIG C PhD studentship. Stipend £14,553 per year (2017/8 rate). Tuition fees covered for UK/EU. International students need own support for extra fees.
- Research will explore how plant metabolites affect gene expression and metabolism in the prostate cancer tumour microenvironment.
- Use of cell and ex vivo human tissue models.
- Short term human intervention study in collaboration with clinicians at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
- Research leads to further development of functional food products.
