SQA Engineer Mandarin / Cantonese - Mail Division

At [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk], we support businesses of all sizes in their digital transformation and growth journey. We are looking for an SQA Engineer to lead supplier quality assurance in Asia.

General Missions

  • Lead a global Supplier Quality Assurance approach, based on the PDQP requirements, from development to serial life and during resourcing programs.
  • Manage the quality control (quality performance evaluation, actions plan, audit) of the tier 2 vendors in Asia.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Management of our Tier 2 suppliers in Asia: define preventive actions, manage quality KPIs, ease communication, ensure IQC/OQC procedures coherence, manage standard norms compliance (UL, Reach, RoHS), manage toolings booklets, and participate in evaluation of new suppliers/OEM partners.
  • Parts industrialization and validation: participate in technical discussions, define validation strategy, follow up IQC jigs, handle parts submission, gather quality documentation, manage double checks, and release PVR.
  • Other: adhere to corporate social responsibility policies, quality system processes, health and safety, and [Employer hidden]'s Code of Ethic and Suppliers' Code of Conduct.

Your Profile

Education & Experience: Quality engineer (University/Engineering school level) with at least 5 years in a similar position.

  • Technical skills: good overall technical knowledge, extensive knowledge of parts production processes, parts control ability, quality tools (audit, 5S, 8D, P-FMEA, PDCA), familiar with UL, REACH.
  • Personal skills: good communication in international environment, open-minded, strong leadership, rigorous, autonomous.
  • Language skills: English, Mandarin, and Cantonese fluent.
