FULL DESCRIPTION

Short-term/Freelance Animator and Graphic Designer

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is looking for a graphic designer to help bring the Sling brand to life across paid advertising, social media, and in-person events. This is a one-month full-time contract, with potential to extend or move to freelance after that.

What you’ll do

  • Create static and motion graphics for paid ads (Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.)
  • Design short animations or lightweight motion assets that communicate product value quickly and clearly
  • Produce marketing materials for in-person events, including handouts, cards, etc.
  • Design graphics and templates for organic social channels
  • Collaborate with marketing and design to ensure consistency across all touchpoints
  • Adapt existing brand guidelines into new, expressive formats while keeping things simple and clean
  • Bring ideas to life from concept to polished final deliverables, often on quick timelines
  • Help evolve the visual language of [Employer hidden] as we grow into new markets

What we’re looking for

  • 3–5+ years of experience in graphic design, motion design, or visual communication (agency, in-house, or freelance)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing eye-catching ads, animation/motion work, and polished marketing design
  • Ability to make complex ideas feel simple and easy to understand through visuals
  • Excellent visual craft — composition, typography, layout, color, and motion
  • Comfortable working independently, taking direction, and iterating quickly
  • Experience adapting design systems across a variety of formats and sizes
  • Clear communicator who can explain design thinking and rationale

Nice to have

  • Experience with fintech or global consumer brands
  • Experience designing for multi-language or international audiences
  • Experience with animation, lightweight 3D, or video editing
  • Familiarity with paid media best practices (aspect ratios, file specs, ad performance constraints)
