Main Duties
- Effective and efficient Inspection of Conventional and SMT Board Assemblies.
- Manual Soldering, Reworking and Prototyping.
- Electronic Product Assembly.
- Adhere to Health & Safety rules and regulations.
- Any Other Duties that may arise to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be bright, enthusiastic and bubbly, willing to learn new tasks and enjoy being part of a team. Good communication skills are required, with the ability to take instruction, work without supervision and perform to tight deadlines. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications in Maths & English are essential alongside a sound knowledge of conventional & Surface Mount electronic component/packages, component polarity and a good interpretation of manufacturing documentation, (i.e., parts list, drawings, procedures). Knowledge of IPC-A-610 & Lead-Free processes and AOI operation and programming is desirable. At least 3 years experience of working within a busy Electronic PCB Inspection / Assembly Department is desirable.
