Pay Rate: 28000 GBP – 30000 GBP (Annum)

Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the dentist in all aspects of patient care, including preparing patients for treatment, taking X-rays, and maintaining patient records. The Dental Assistant will also be responsible for ensuring that the dental office is clean and organized, and that all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist in all aspects of patient care, including preparing patients for treatment, taking X-rays, and maintaining patient records
  • Ensure that the dental office is clean and organized, and that all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment
  • Assist with the administration of anesthesia and other medications as directed by the dentist
  • Perform basic laboratory procedures, such as taking impressions and pouring models
  • Schedule appointments and maintain patient records
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Ability to take accurate X-rays and impressions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
