Job Description

We are looking for local residents to join a team of community engagers reach out to help isolated and vulnerable people ease back into ‘normal life’ after lockdown. We will be using [Employer hidden] local community gardens as safe spaces where they can meet people, gain confidence, learn new skills and reactivate social connections.

  • Our community engagers will work min 3 to 4 hours a week and will be paid the Reading living wage.
  • Option may be available for more hours.
  • Training will be provided and no previous experience or formal qualifications are needed, just enthusiasm for working with the community.
  • Volunteers are also welcome.
  • To start July 2021.
