Engineering Technician (Electro-Mechanical)

Opportunity

This role will involve becoming a key member of our production team, working closely with Technicians, Project Managers and Engineers. The role will be flexible to the needs of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical assembly, quality testing and installation of our QuantiSort and QualiBot offerings
  • Electrical assembly and quality testing, in workshop and on-site
  • Development, building and testing of subassemblies
  • Maintaining component traceability and ensuring highest quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a hands-on technician role in an industrial engineering environment
  • Power and control wiring aptitude a must
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Familiarity with BS 7671 and 60204
  • Strong problem-solving mentality
  • Ability to interpret engineering information in multiple formats
  • Route and terminate pneumatic lines, electrical conduits, wiring/cabling
  • Confidence using workshop and power tools
  • Keen eye for detail and process improvement
  • Based within commutable distance to Stratford, London (onsite 5 days a week)

Nice to Have

  • Full clean driving license
  • Forklift qualifications
  • Experience with pneumatic systems and industrial equipment
  • Startup or scale-up experience
