[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Technician to join our team at the Ilkeston office. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £27,000-£31,000 per annum with excellent benefits.

Main Objectives

As a crucial member of the team, you will carry out site-based surveys, sampling of building materials and measurements of structural elements. Your role involves effective communication with team members and third parties. Responsibilities include obtaining accurate data and ensuring health and safety compliance on site. The role demands physical agility, from walking/climbing embankments to working within buildings or on motorways.

Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct opening up works of concrete and masonry elements using percussive drills.
  • Work as 3rd man on confined space works or boat works.
  • Measure steel elements with precision.
  • Diamond drilling of concrete/masonry/bituminous materials.
  • Neat removal of bricks from walls and timber from floors.
  • Adherence to the Company Health & Safety Policy.
  • Team integration, maintaining strong harmony and morale.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence
  • CSCS Card
  • Manual handling required for works
