Progress and Engagement Coach

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Group is seeking a Progress and Engagement Coach for the Leeds International [Employer hidden] Centre. This is a full-time (37.5 hours) fixed-term contract until 31/12/2026. Salary up to £26,520 per annum. Entry level.

About the Role

The Progression & Engagement Coach supports students’ progression needs both face-to-face and online. The post holder will be responsible for delivery of tutorial sessions, 1-1 support and guidance, and establishing a programme of activities to help students develop skills and confidence outside the classroom in preparation for their transition to HE.

  • Acting as a personal tutor to deliver Academic Success tutorials and provide 1:1 personal development, academic and progression counselling.
  • Collaborate within the network to design and create learning materials around [Employer hidden] skills, welfare topics and employability.
  • Update and maintain the virtual learning environment and embed alternative digital learning technologies.
  • Put interventions in place regarding attendance in a timely manner.
  • Track student performance, liaise with academic team to identify intervention strategies.
  • Monitor student destination offers and refer to Extended Progression Team.
  • Track VLE analytics and gather data on work completion.
  • Support student mental and physical health, liaise with Student Wellbeing Team.
  • Ensure accurate student records.
  • Support organisation of wellbeing, enrichment, transition events.

General Duties

  • Smooth running of reception and student-facing environments, dealing with queries.
  • Organise registration, arrivals, induction, enrichment activities and events.
  • Effective relationship management with stakeholders including key university departments.
  • Provide resources and support for other teams.
  • General administration support for the centre.
  • Carry out duties as required by Senior Leadership Team.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Supporting students in an educational context.
  • Experience of creating engaging content and delivering workshops.
  • Working in a regulated environment.
  • Working in customer service.
