Student Wellbeing and Engagement Coordinator

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Group is hiring a Student Wellbeing and Engagement Coordinator at Bath International [Employer hidden] Centre. Full-time, permanent role starting June 2026. Salary up to £28,000 per annum.

About the Role

  • Welfare & Safeguarding: Ensure effective case management of welfare concerns, support Learning Differences, Health and Disability students, maintain accurate records in line with GDPR.
  • Safeguarding students in line with [Employer hidden] Group policy and procedure, act as point of contact for safety concerns.
  • Provide 1:1 welfare and pastoral support, refer to external services as needed.
  • Support Support Plans for students and monitor engagement.
  • Assist students under 18 with daily monitoring and locating.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and support students with additional needs (health/SEND).
  • Promote student Health Registration on NHS and assist with access to healthcare.
  • Plan and implement annual welfare events and promotional activities.
  • Assist with Mitigating Circumstances Forms and meetings.
  • Support Student Staff Liaison Committee meetings.
  • Make check-in calls with students on support or safety plans (time in lieu given for out-of-hours calls).

General Duties: Ensure smooth running of reception, handle student queries face-to-face, via VLE, email, phone. Organize registration, arrivals, induction, enrichment activities. Release information to external stakeholders. Manage relationships with university departments. Support marketing and agent visits. Provide general admin support and cover for absent colleagues during peak periods.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Safeguarding training or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting students in an educational context.
  • Experience organizing trips/visits with risk assessments.
  • Experience creating engaging content and delivering workshops.
  • Experience collaborating with external partners.
  • Experience facilitating student voice and feedback.
  • Working in a regulated environment and customer service.
  • Excellent IT and data management skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze data for reporting.
