Lecturer - Fintech

Contract: Full Time (37.5 hours) – Permanent
Salary: up to £54,000 per annum
About the Role
- Design teaching material and deliver across a range of modules or within a subject area using appropriate teaching learning support and assessment methods to ensure student’s progress
- Design, mark and give feedback on appropriate formative and summative assessments
- Within the subject team plan design and develop learning outcomes and materials
- Contribute to revision and improvements in curriculum content and delivery
- Supervise student projects, field trips and placements
- Maintain up to date records of student attendance and progress and complete academic administration
- Act as a personal tutor
- Develop an active research record and engage in subject professional and/or pedagogy research
- Coordinate and lead small modules
- Participate in external networks
- Contribute to quality assurance and recruitment activities
About You
- PhD degree (or equivalent) in Financial Technology (Fintech) or relevant discipline
- Strong research and publication background (2* journals and above)
- Fellowship of Advance HE or to be achieved within 12 months
- Experience teaching postgraduate modules in Data Analysis and Visualisation, Distributed Ledger Technologies, Financial Reporting, Managing Big Data, or Principles of Finance
