7.5 Tonne Driver
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is looking for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join the R4GM Re-Use Team in Greater Manchester. This is a fixed-term, full-time position with a salary of £30,864.36 per annum.
- Contract type: Fixed term (12 months)
- Working pattern: Full time, 38.5 hours per week
- Location: Higher Swan Lane, Bolton – Various Greater Manchester depots
- Salary: £30,864.36 per annum / £15.36 per hour
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays
About the Role
As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will be driving waste vehicles, looking after the operation and loading of vehicles collecting municipal recycling and waste from households. You will be working primarily for the R4GM Re-Use Team, moving furniture and white goods. Key responsibilities include:
- Working with the Re-Use section of the Greater Manchester Contract
- Manual handling of white goods and furniture
- Rolling trollies for offload and loading
- Rail lift loading
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety rules and contractual requirements at all times
Requirements
- Must hold a valid CPC card
- Passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills
- Willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service
- Experience in the waste industry and knowledge of the area is desirable
