We are hiring a Data Scientist with proven industry experience in media, advertising, or adtech. This is a full-time hybrid position based in London.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Data Scientist with proven industry experience in media, advertising, or adtech — particularly in:
- Forecasting models for inventory planning
- Impressions, reach and campaign performance prediction
- Supply-demand modelling in TV and OTT environments
- Deduplication models for reach and frequency across linear TV, OTT, and digital platforms
You will design and deploy forecasting and optimisation models that directly impact revenue, inventory management and campaign planning for media owners and advertisers.
This is not an academic role — we are looking for someone who has built and shipped production models in a commercial media environment.
What you'll do
- Build and scale statistical and ML models for large audience datasets (TV, OTT, CTV), ensuring performance, reliability, and production readiness, including: Statistical models (e.g., NBD, regression-based methods) for behaviour, frequency, and reach estimation; Deduplication and cross-platform reach estimation models; Forecasting models for inventory, impressions, reach, and campaign delivery; Predictive models for audience measurement and planning; Churn prediction models for retention and engagement analysis; Clustering models for audience segmentation and targeting optimisation
- Design and implement planning and allocation algorithms for campaign optimisation and yield management
- Translate business problems (pricing, allocation, yield optimisation) into scalable data science solutions
- Work closely with product and engineering to productionise and integrate models into decision systems
- Contribute to AI-driven feature development across planning and measurement
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in the media industry (research company, broadcaster, media company, agency, or audience measurement/analytics platforms), working in the capacity of research or data analysis/science
- Hands-on experience building forecasting models for inventory or media planning or deduplication
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in production ML systems
- Solid foundation in statistical and ML methods, including time-series modelling, regression, probabilistic forecasting, and optimisation techniques
- Understanding of impressions, reach, GRPs/TVR, digital ad metrics
Nice to Have: Experience working with audience measurement or cross-media data; Knowledge of supply forecasting in linear TV or streaming; Experience deploying models in cloud environments.
