Role Description

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a Tier 1 contractor to identify and secure a Senior Commercial Manager to take the lead on HV / Sub Station projects in the Scottish / Central belt region. The successful candidate will oversee all commercial aspects of the framework, ensuring robust contract management, effective risk mitigation, budgetary control, and compliance with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial function across a major project (£50m+) on the Scottish Power framework, ensuring contractual and financial performance.
• Provide strategic commercial input across all phases of the delivery – from tender through to final account.
• Oversee contract administration, including NEC3/4 or other relevant contract forms.
• Manage and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors to deliver the project.
• Monitor, control, and report on commercial risk and opportunities across the project.
• Ensure accurate cost forecasting, cash flow, and budget management.
• Lead commercial negotiations and client interactions for the project, ensuring positive outcomes for all parties.
• Prepare and present reports to senior leadership and client representatives.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction-based subject.
• Major Infrastructure project experience, delivering NEC 3/4 forms of contract.
• Scottish based – willing to work in Glasgow 2-3 days a week with meetings across the Central belt.
