About the role
As a People Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality People service across the employee lifecycle. Acting as a first point of contact for colleagues and managers, you will support onboarding, employee relations, payroll changes and leaver processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and a positive colleague experience. Your work will directly support managers, strengthen people processes and contribute to effective day-to-day HR operations.
Duties & responsibilities
- Respond to colleague and manager queries via the People Services Helpdesk, providing guidance on policies and procedures
- Deliver Tier one employee relations support, including absence, conduct and performance matters
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding activity including contracts, checks and system access
- Maintain accurate and compliant colleague records within HR systems and online files
- Provide timely and accurate people data to payroll for starters, movers, leavers and contractual changes
- Manage authorised changes to terms and conditions throughout the colleague lifecycle
- Support leaver processes, including annual leave recalculations and payroll notifications
- Assist the wider People team with projects, ER case administration and people initiatives
About You
- Experience working in a fast-paced HR or People administration role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with strong attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Excel
- Proactive, positive and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards desirable
