[Employer hidden] is seeking an experienced Head Chef to join the team at Melford Court, a stunning Grade II listed care home in Long Melford. This is a full-time, on-site position with no evening work.

Our Head Chef Role
- Heading up a team including, a deputy cook and kitchen assistants
- Preparing fresh, delicious meals for elderly residents
- Supporting residents to live fulfilling lives
- Manage stock control and complete rotas
- Maintain the kitchen to SFBB standards
- 40 hours per week
- 6am to 3pm
- Full-time contracted hours with no evening work.
- Available to work alternate weekends
The skills you’ll need
- A competent cook with experience of a professional kitchen
- Adaptable to dietary requirements
- Passionate about great quality food and making a difference
- Flexibility, patience, caring attitude and a real 'people person'
- A proficient level of written and spoken English
- Please note that from 11 November 2021, all staff working in care homes must be double COVID vaccinated (limited medical exemptions apply)
