Canteen/ Cleaning Assistant

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Canteen/ Cleaning Assistant to join their onshore team on a permanent basis at their [Employer hidden] Office in Aberdeen.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Chef and Canteen Assistant in the preparation of food as & when required.
  • During lunch service, assist in order taking and payment, when required.
  • Clear tables and dirty dishes and ensure tables are cleaned, when required.
  • Load / unload dishwasher when required.
  • Assist in the vacuuming and washing of canteen floor when required.
  • Assist in the daily cleaning in kitchen/food preparation and cooking areas, when required.
  • Cover for Canteen Assistant during absenteeism due to illness/holidays.
  • Ensure all coffee machines within all breakout areas are filled and maintained daily.
  • Distribute milk & fruit to all Breakout areas as required daily.
  • Ensure all Breakout Areas are fully stocked daily with hot drink supplies.
  • Date stamp milk bottles daily.
  • Advise Office Facilities Manager or Office Facilities Assistant of any faults with any of the breakout area equipment, such as coffee machines, water coolers, kettles etc.
  • Any other duties as required by the Office Facilities Manager.

Requirements

  • Relevant Food Hygiene Standards and Compliance with Local Government.
  • Previous Experience within a similar position.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to a positive working environment.
  • Organisational Qualities.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills.
